Types of Wall Graphics We Install in Newport Beach
Commercial Wallcovering
Printed wallcovering suits rooms where people sit close to the wall, like conference rooms and patient areas. The finish is matte or suede, so it doesn’t shine under office lights. Panels butt together at the seams instead of overlapping, and the surface wipes clean. We print your artwork, logo pattern or photo to the exact size of the wall.
Office Wall Graphics
Your logo behind reception, a company timeline down a hallway, or your firm’s values in a training room. Office wall graphics are printed vinyl cut to fit around doors, outlets and glass. Most Newport Beach offices are in leased buildings, so clean removal at the end of a lease is usually the first thing a property manager asks about. We plan for it from the start.
Custom Wall Murals
A mural covers a whole wall with one image. Offices use them in interior rooms, like a harbor photo on a wall that has no window. Hotels and restaurants use them to give a room its own character. We print murals on wallcovering, so there’s no laminate film on top and the seams are hard to find.
Exterior Wall Wraps
Stucco, block and concrete are all common on Newport Beach buildings, and each one takes a different film. We test the wall first, then use a vinyl that conforms to the texture and a laminate that holds up to sun and salt air. If the wrap shows your business name, we check the city sign rules with you before anything is printed.
Wall Decals and Lettering
Decals make sense when the wall color already looks right and you only need a logo, a room name or a line of text. We cut them to any shape and install them level. For style options, see our guide to wall lettering for business.
Barricade Graphics
Remodeling a store at Fashion Island or Lido Marina Village? Barricade graphics cover the construction wall and tell shoppers what’s opening and when. We print them for plywood and glass. Shopping centers usually have their own design rules for barricades, so send us the center’s guidelines along with your artwork.

What Our Clients Say About Their Walls
FAQs
We install throughout Newport Beach, including Newport Center, the Airport Area, Corona del Mar, Balboa Peninsula and Lido Isle. Our shop is a short drive away in Costa Mesa, which makes site visits easy to schedule.
Removable vinyl comes off without pulling paint as long as the wall was properly painted and the paint had time to cure. Wallcovering can be removed too, but it takes more work. If your lease says the walls must be restored, tell us at the start and we’ll choose materials with that in mind.
It depends on design and approvals. A single reception wall with finished artwork usually takes [CONFIRM: typical range]. Projects covering several rooms in a managed building take longer because the building has to approve the work first.
Yes. Designers often send us specs and artwork, and we take care of print production, sizing and installation. Before anything prints, we flag low-resolution files and any seam that would fall across a face or a logo.
The wallcovering we print is GREENGUARD Gold certified for low chemical emissions, and it wipes clean. If your practice uses specific disinfectants, send us the product names and we’ll check that they won’t damage the surface.
Usually not as it comes out of the tool. Most AI images are 1,000 to 2,000 pixels wide, and a reception wall can be 12 feet or more. Upscaling saves some images and ruins others. Send us the file and we’ll tell you whether it will hold up at full size.
Send us photos and measurements of your wall, or call (877) 582-3680. We’ll tell you which material fits the room and what the project will cost.
Wall Graphics for the Way Newport Beach Does Business
Newport Beach isn’t a big city by population, but it has a lot of businesses where the office is part of the pitch. Wealth managers, attorneys, plastic surgeons, real estate firms. Their clients show up in person, and the room says something before anyone says hello. That changes what we pay attention to. In a warehouse office, a small gap at a seam is no big deal. In a Newport Center conference room with afternoon sun across the wall, everyone will see it. Most of our Newport Beach projects fall into four groups.
Professional Offices
These are the office buildings in Newport Center and the Airport Area along MacArthur Boulevard and Jamboree Road. Typical jobs are reception walls, conference rooms and hallway branding. Nearly all of them are leased, so the building manager approves materials and install times before we start. Our article on office wall murals has more ideas for these spaces.
Medical and Dental Practices
A lot of Newport Beach’s medical offices sit around Hoag Hospital. These walls get wiped down every day, and patients in the waiting room are often nervous. We usually recommend printed wallcovering over laminated vinyl here because it has no shine and cleans easily. Our guide to wall graphics for hospitals covers infection control and wayfinding in more detail.
Hotels, Restaurants and Clubs
Hospitality walls take more abuse than office walls. Luggage carts and chairs hit them daily, and housekeeping cleans them constantly. We add a satin laminate on the walls that get touched most, and we schedule installs for slower weeks so rooms aren’t out of service when you’re busy. For dining rooms specifically, see wall graphics for restaurants.
Retail
Retail work in Newport Beach centers on Fashion Island, Lido Marina Village and the shops along Pacific Coast Highway. These jobs tend to move fast: a feature wall for a launch, or barricade graphics while a space is under construction. Many retail clients pair a wall with window graphics so the storefront and the inside match.
Wallcovering or Vinyl: Which One Your Wall Needs
This is the question we hear most, and the answer depends on the room more than the budget. Printed wallcovering goes up like wallpaper. The panels meet edge to edge, the surface has a slight texture, and nothing about it looks like plastic. We use it in conference rooms, waiting rooms and hotel corridors, and anywhere people stand close to the wall. It’s also the better material for full murals. Vinyl is an adhesive film. It’s the right call for logos, lettering, cut shapes and anything that has to come off cleanly when you move out. On older paint that won’t hold standard vinyl, we switch to a high-tack film. On stucco or block we use a film made to stretch into the texture. Standard vinyl on a textured wall starts bubbling within weeks, so we won’t put it there. Lamination comes up too. Exterior graphics always get laminated because of the sun. Indoors, our UV gel ink holds up on its own, so we only add a satin laminate where hands, chairs or carts will rub against the wall. Not sure which you need? Send us a few photos of the room and we’ll tell you.
Installing Without Closing Your Office
Most Newport Beach clients can’t shut down for a day, so we build the install around your schedule. [CONFIRM: Early mornings, evenings and weekends are all options.] Managed buildings usually need some paperwork first. The property manager may ask for a [CONFIRM: certificate of insurance], a booked freight elevator and written approval of the work. We deal with the building directly so you aren’t stuck relaying emails between us and your landlord. Our own installers do the work. We don’t send contract crews. If a seam or an edge isn’t right, the same team that printed your graphics comes back and fixes it.
Exterior Walls Near the Coast
Buildings near the harbor and the beach get more sun and salt air than buildings a few miles inland. Cheap film fails faster in those conditions, and so does anything left unlaminated. For exterior walls in Newport Beach we test adhesion on the actual surface, use a conforming vinyl under a protective laminate, and ask how long you want the graphic up so the materials match that timeline. Exterior graphics that show a business name are often treated as signs by the City of Newport Beach. We’ll go over what to check with the city before we print, so a finished wrap doesn’t have to come down later.
What Wall Graphics Cost in Newport Beach
We don’t publish a price list, because two walls of the same size can price very differently. Price mostly comes down to wall size, a smooth or textured surface, wallcovering or vinyl, how much design work the artwork needs, and whether the install happens [CONFIRM: after hours]. For a quote, send us four things:
- 1. The width and height of each wall
- 2. Whether the wall is smooth or textured
- 3. A few photos of the space, including any doors, outlets and windows
- 4. The date you need it finished
We’ll send you a price. If it works, we set up a design meeting at our Costa Mesa shop, at your office or over video. Before printing, we visit and test the wall so we know the material will hold. You approve the proofs, then we print and install. Business financing is available if you want to spread out the cost.
