Floor Graphics: Custom Printed Entry Mat for Fashion Camp OC

Lucent Graphic Solutions is proud to receive the opportunity to work with Fashion Camp OC to create and install a custom printed entry mat.

Erin Bianchi, founder of Fashion Camp challenged us to come up with a solution to her new store location at the District.  The previous tenant had placed a custom tile entry with their name spelled with the tiles.  The cost to remove and replace the tiles wasn't feasible so therefore we had to think of a material that would cover the existing tiles in the meantime display Fashion Camp's logo and be safe for visitors to walk on.

After a lengthy research we teamed up with a unique vendor that specializes in manufacturing permanent adhesive backed mats in different finishes that are also printable and offer a non-slip surface.

As evident the finished work exceeded our client't expectations. The custom printed mat perfectly covered the tiles and ads a very unique look to the store.  Since the design was a reverse print (on the back of the mat instead of the surface) it is much more durable and it will look new for years to come.  The surface of the mat is very non-slip ensuring high traffic to safely enter and exit the store.

We also took an extra step and sealed the front of the mat with a steel lip cover to ensure there will be no lift-age of the mat that may cause visitors to trip.
